- Provide general advice to staff and managers on all facets of the employee lifecycle
- Support P&C Business Partners in delivering a consultative and customer focused P&C service to staff and managers
- Coach and support leaders in the use of HR systems and interpreting industrial instruments
- Support people related initiatives and projects
- Undertake remuneration, classification and job evaluation process for positions
- Draft and prepare documents, correspondence and generate reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Effectively manage high volume operational activities, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures
- Mentor and train members of the wider P&C team
- Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in HR
- A demonstrated strong customer centric focus
- High level verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
- Ability to create positive working relationships with a range of internal stakeholders
- Highly developed administrative skills, including computer literacy and excellent attention to detail
- Pragmatic, proactive and collaborative approach
- Understanding of and empathy with the values and ideals of BSL
