Wodonga Abattoir has an exciting opportunity for a People Culture Officer. As the People and Culture Officer, you will collaborate with the broader business to ensure you help the company achieve its goals.
Duties:
- Provide OHS assistance and advice
- Assist the Training and development of employees
- Ensure documentation is up to date and accurate
- Help improve process and procedures
- Consulting with internal stakeholders on best practices, legal and regulatory aspects;
- Coordinating the continual improvement of the management systems;
- Promoting policies, procedures and promoting a culture of health and safety;
- Supporting or conducting audits;
- Monitoring compliance with law and regulatory requirements and advise on changes;
Skills and experience:
- Experience in a similar role preferred but not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to Learn & Grown within the Role
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- A high attention to detail
