As a People and Culture Officer you will work closely with the People and Culture Manager to foster a workplace that values and empowers its people. This role is pivotal in implementing strategies that support our organisational goals and enhance our workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete day to day functions for the People & Culture department
- Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of People & Culture policies and procedures.
- Carry out required actions in relation to recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, and employee relations.
- Assist in managing the annual employee appraisal process.
- Coordinate workplace injuries and/or workers compensation as required
- Manage People & Culture records and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Participate in the organisation and coordination of company-wide events and initiatives.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees, site supervisors and managers queries, offering guidance and support.
- Support initiatives of the People & Culture department that support company strategic planning.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Relevant qualification in Human Resource is highly desirable
- Ability to develop and maintain internal relationships.
- Apply a high level of interpersonal and communication skills.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
- Knowledge of relevant employment legislation and regulations
- Ability to work across multiple awards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
