Role Details
Gold Fields is recruiting for a dynamic and energetic Senior People and Engagement Advisor to join their Granny Smith Mine, which is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth.
We are experiencing a period of peak activity across the operations, so we are also accepting expressions of interest from different HR professionals with varying levels of experience (from Senior to Advisor level) who are interested in either Permanent or Contract roles.

Reporting to the Lead : People & Engagement, you will be responsible for providing functional Human Resources support across the Granny Smith site to assist in maintaining a motivated workforce that is committed to the success and values of Gold Fields Australia.

About the role:
- Implement key HR projects and strategies, ensuring clear communication and support is provided. Contribute to design and implementation of employee engagement activities including but not limited to onboarding, development planning, diversity & inclusion, and wellness programmes.
- Provide advice, support and coaching to leaders in the areas of employee relations, policies, procedures, and performance management, ensuring tools and resources provided are consistently applied.
- Assist in the development, review, implementation and monitoring of all Human Resources procedures and systems to create consistency within the People & Engagement function and monitor adherence and compliance to legislation.
- Foster a positive climate for an engaged, diverse, and inclusive workforce to drive a performance-based culture.
- Facilitate the development and implementation of diversity and retention strategies.
- Consistently demonstrate and reflect behaviours, actions, and attitudes in line with Gold Field's Vision, Values and Code of Ethics.
You will have:
- A Tertiary degree qualification in Human Resources or related discipline
- Demonstrated Human Resources experience, within the resources sector and a fly in fly out environment is desirable
- Exposure to employment legislation, investigations, and performance case management
- Ability to work autonomously while building collaborative relationships and utilising influencing skills
- Create and collaborate effective and respectful working relationships with leaders and employees at all levels of the business
- Valid Manual Driver's Licence
