Role Purpose
The P&C Advisor provides generalist HR advice to leaders and team members on all people related policies, procedures, and practices across the Medi Aesthetics business unit.
This role acts as the first point of contact and is responsible for facilitating case management of people issues including performance and conduct matters to ensure a timely, and procedurally fair approach that fosters a culture reflective of our company values. The P&C advisor role aspires to create a great employment experience for our people including building the capability of our leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Case Management:
- Manage disciplinary matters and processes, support the business partnering team with investigations and complex issues
Ensure fair and best practice outcomes.
General Advisory Services:
- Respond to queries on various people matters.
- Provide ER advice and interpret entitlements.
- Coach leaders on processes and policies.
Reporting & Insights:
- Partner with People & Capability team for case updates and reporting.
- Create monthly reports and share insights to inform strategy.
Develop Tools and Templates:
- Improve resources for leaders and team members to access information easily.
Requirements
Education/Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related field.
- Accreditation in coaching/dispute resolution and/or workplace investigations is a plus.
Skills & Experience:
- 2-5 years in an advisory role in a medium to large organization.
- Experience in coaching leaders and managing disciplinary processes.
- Knowledge of Australian employment law and ER practices
- Understanding of federal awards, enterprise agreements, and NES entitlements.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accountability.
- Commercial focus with the ability to provide clear, actionable reports.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel for reporting.
- Experience in a generalist advisory role and conducting workplace investigations is a plus.
