We are currently looking for a People & Culture Administrator to support our NSW cluster of hotels, including Sydney Central Hotel, Citadines Walker Street North Sydney and Citadines Connect Sydney Airport. This role will be based at Sydney Central Hotel, reporting to the Director of People & Culture - NSW.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing end-to-end recruitment support including posting ads, extending contracts, setting up new hires in the various systems, orientation and onboarding programs.
- Maintaining employee personnel files to ensure all data/paperwork is up to date.
- Assist in maintaining the HRIS, payroll system, system access platform and other P&C-related systems/platforms to ensure employees have the correct access and records for the entire employee life cycle.
- Maintain compliance trackers, records and reporting (VISA, RSA, First Aid) and coordinate training as required.
- Assist with all L&D-related administrative support as required.
- Support and coordinate exciting hotel-based engagement activities/functions.
- Coordinate monthly and quarterly employee recognition programs (i.e. Appreciation Day Lunches, Birthdays and Anniversaries), including communications, nominations, certificates, awards and celebrations.
- Provide support and escalate queries regarding the fortnightly payroll.
Although the role will be primarily based in Sydney Central Hotel, an exciting part of this role is that you will have the opportunity to travel between the Sydney properties, establishing your profile and building relationships with the team in NSW. No two days will be the same!
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in HR Administration or a related field
- Strong communication skills and a bubbly personality
- Strong organisational skills are a must!
