In this role you will actively partner with Direct Group entities to provide superior and professional people services to managers and employees through the resolution of generalist People & Culture matters, recruitment of top talent, and the delivery of cohesive People & Culture programs, initiatives and advice. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: Project management the implementation of a new HRIS and Learner Management System
Upskilling leaders on the new performance review process Managing and coordinating the end-to-end recruitment process for specific business units Partnering with leaders to design and implement change projects
Board reports – preparing and analysing employee data, including weekly and monthly reporting as required Updating policies and procedures Creating employee communications
Managing employee relation matters WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: Demonstrated stakeholder management skills
Sound knowledge and ability to interpret current employment legislation as well as contemporary people and culture practices, policies and trends Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and promote adherence to legislative compliance Strong written communication skills, with an ability to write general correspondence
Well-developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build rapport, interact effectively at all levels, and provide support and advice Ability to work independently and contribute effectively as a team member to achieve goals Strong organisational, planning and time management skills with an ability to priorities and manage workload, meet deadlines and adapt to changing circumstances
