GenesisCare Victoria is currently recruiting an experience People & Culture Business Partner for this newly created position to join us on a full-time basis.
The key focus of the role is to provide expert P&C advice and assistance to the Victorian Oncology business, along with the P&C Manager.
The role will work with local teams and leadership teams to execute operational P&C activities and support the consistent delivery of services, policies, processes and procedures. You will be part of the wider P&C team including experts in Talent Acquisition, Industrial / Employee Relations, Rewards and Talent & Capability and will be required to support the development of the group-wide P&C function.
As a People & Culture Business Partner will need to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The ability to work collaboratively in a team and to develop strong, positive working relationships with colleagues and client groups is essential.
This role requires regular travel across the Victorian Centres and Head Office.
More specifically, you will:
Business Partnering
- Provide P&C Business Partnering to leaders of the Victorian business.
- Act as the contact point for line management and staff on P&C issues, providing a consultancy and advisory service.
- With the support of the P&C Manager, support change management and communication processes to implement project and process transformations as required.
- Provide information, counsel and advice on P&C issues, legislative requirements (Acts, Regulations, Awards, Industrial Agreements and legislation), interpretation of GenesisCare policies and procedures to maintain best practice and ensure compliance with the relevant requirements.
- Partner with leaders on employee relations matters including performance management, PIPs, investigations, and disciplinary matters.
- Support the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of GenesisCare policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Along with the P&C Manager, coach senior leaders to build and embed leadership capabilities within the state.
- In conjunction with the P&C Manager and specialist resources (e.g. Culture & Capability, Talent Acquisition) support the implementation of programs relating to capability development, talent management, succession planning, career pathways, talent acquisition, talent retention.
- Partner with the business through the engagement survey process, analysing results with the P&C Manager, and providing support with action planning.
- Positively contribute to the success of the People & Culture function and to GenesisCare’s broader high-performance culture by role modelling GenesisCare values.
- Work cooperatively as part of the wider People & Culture team, exchanging information and learning and assisting other team members to achieve objectives and work outcomes.
- 3-4 years’ experience working in an HR/P&C generalist role;
- Completed tertiary qualifications in HR;
- High level oral and written communication skills;
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to understand, interpret and analyse data;
- Ability to interpret legislation, regulations, awards, industrial agreements, policies and procedures;
- Developing industrial relations skills and employment law knowledge;
- Experience of applying contemporary P&C procedures and practices;
- Some experience coaching managers;
- Ability to contribute to the implementation of P&C programs and initiatives.
