Due to strategic growth we have a newly created and exciting opportunity for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner (PCBP) to join our dynamic and evolving People & Culture team. Reporting to the People & Culture Manager you will partner with all Business Unit and Department Managers with a focus on developing robust people and capability plans that support their strategic objectives.
Our Role
This is a true generalist role where you will play a pivotal role in partnering with leaders to build relationships in people, culture and change management activities to support the ongoing transformation and identity of the business.
About You
You are a natural people person, you see every challenge as an opportunity, love working with people and processes, are a capable multitasker, tenacious in your daily approach, have a growth mindset, the ability to challenge conventional thinking and can influence broadly across the business.
You will be an experienced PCBP /HRBP/ Advisor who can develop long term relationships at both a people leader and employee level. You can adapt quickly to changing priorities and guide others through change. Ideally, you will have significant HR and Business Partnering experience across the breadth of a business.
You Will
- Provide expert advice, guidance, coaching and support on all aspects of human resources including employee engagement and retention, talent management, people management, learning and development, performance management, and organisational culture.
- Assist the P&C Manager in business and people strategy.
- Partner with business leaders to effectively develop their teams.
- Partner with managers to optimise the Management by Objectives (MBO) development process.
- Assist in the development of the learning management system (LMS).
- Deliver training sessions and facilitate groups effectively.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and best practices.
- Assist in change management initiatives and programs to ensure our people are engaged and supported through effective change and communication plans.
- Champion the HRIS (Employment Hero) and be the subject matter expert.
- Play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Provide moral support to your P&C team colleagues in their expert fields of talent acquisition, people management and occupational health and safety.
- Love everything people related.
You will Have
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or other business-related studies.
- 7+ years of broad generalist HR experience.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment highly desirable.
- HRIS experience (Employment Hero) highly desirable.
- Previous exposure to organisational development, performance management, succession planning and remuneration processes.
- High level of EQ, balancing business growth and priorities with employee engagement and wellbeing.
- A collaborative approach and strong influencing skills.
- Sound understanding of employment legislation, industrial instruments and contemporary HR practices.
- A high level of resilience, a can-do approach, with demonstrated experience navigating complex issues and competing priorities.
