About the Role:
Based at our Richmond office and operating within a hybrid work model. You will be responsible for providing generalist HR advice to people leaders and employees across Victoria. Acting as the first “port of call” for our people, you will listen to understand and coach and support to foster an engaged and remarkable team. You will collaborate with people leaders and employees to achieve the timely completion of key cyclical activities across the entire employee life cycle such as performance and remuneration reviews, casual conversion and engagement surveys, working closely with P&C team members to gather data and track progress. You will support the P&C Manager to develop and improve HR policies and processes which enable our organisation to deliver healthcare and wellbeing services that Victorian communities need to thrive. In addition to the “BAU” tasks, there is scope within this role to support the development of our Diversity and Inclusion strategy and other interesting projects that progress our exciting new People Plan.
The People and Culture team works in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, so being flexible in your approach to work and your ability to adapt to change will be critical in this role.
Key Accountabilities:
Provide a confidential and trusted channel for all employee advice, queries, concerns, and issues and deliver best practice advice on a range of generalist HR matters to all employees.
Work with business unit leadership team (s) to promote effective ways of working and agree appropriate local-level interventions to maximise opportunities, support change and manage risk.
Enable the timely completion of P&C initiatives in the business including performance cycles, recruitment, learning and development, talent, and remuneration reviews.
Under supervision, conduct reviews that support the resolution of people matters.
Qualifications & Experience:
Relevant tertiary qualification and broad experience in HR.
Experience in a role that has required the ability to influence others who were not direct reports.
Previous healthcare experience desirable.
