The Role:
As a People & Culture Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the people strategy, ensuring that the HR initiatives align with the business goals and foster a high-performance culture. Your responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with the General Manager to develop and implement strategic people initiatives that enhance cultural alignment, talent management, and employee engagement.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to the leadership team, providing expert guidance on HR/ER/IR matters to foster effective leadership and decision-making.
- Lead the delivery of a full spectrum of HR services, including talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies. Oversee remuneration reviews, succession planning, and performance management processes to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
- Conduct thorough investigations into complex employee cases, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a safe and supportive workplace environment.
- Craft and execute innovative people strategies that drive organisational success, including workforce planning, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and employee engagement programs.
What We're Looking For:
- Over 7 years of experience in a senior HR role, ideally within the transport, engineering, construction, or mining industries.
- Proven success in developing and implementing effective HR strategies.
- Exceptional relationship management and influencing skills at senior levels.
- Strong change management capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of contemporary HR practices and Australian legislation.
- Demonstrated experience in learning and development, talent planning, and performance management.
- A degree in HR, IR, or a related field.
