They operate multiple restaurants Nationwide and are experiencing a period of high growth, requiring the need for a Human Resources Manager to work part-time (3 days a week) for a 6 month period.
About the Role
Reporting into the CEO, this is a true generalist role and will be responsible for leading the HR function, ensuring effective and efficient management of the functional areas of employee relations, industrial relations, recruitment, work health and safety and compensation management. Working cross-departmentally to ensure the business receives the required HR support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all ER issues providing guidance and support to State Managers, Restaurant Operations Managers.
- Manage all aspects of Industrial Relations including, managing the EA and all non-EA employment agreements.
- Manage WH&S (including compensation management)
- Provide HR advice, guidance, and support to franchisees, managers and employees.
- Work alongside the Operations team to recruit and retain high performing Restaurant Management employees.
- Manage the annual performance review process and quarterly development plans.
To be successful in this position you will:
- Have min 3+ years experience in a similar role, ideally within multi-site retail.
- Experience with Franchise businesses highly desired (but not mandatory).
- Ability to manage a small remote team
- Ability to work part-time, 3 days per week
- Proven ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
