Jewish Care Victoria, a not-for-profit organisation, is the largest provider of aged and community services for the Jewish Community in Victoria. Services include Aged Residential Care, Assessment Referral and Individual Support Services, Community Aged Care, Disability, Mental Health, Youth and Family Services and Holocaust Survivors Programs.
Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking an enthusiastic and team-orientated individual to support the effective operations of the People & Development (P&D) department in the delivery of quality, timely P&D services for Jewish Care (Victoria) and participate in a variety of projects where your contribution will be essential to the success of the team.
This is a real opportunity to step up, take ownership and make a difference.. This position is a full-time role and is based at our head office located on St Kilda Rd.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
- General administrative assistance for People & Development Team including maintaining employee records, manage the People & Development inbox and monitor the P&D compliance and policy administration at all levels;
- Participate in People & Development projects including contributing to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency reporting, policy & procedure reviews and other initiatives as directed;
- Provide timely and accurate advice to managers and employees on general P&D matters including policies, practices and key processes, position descriptions, conditions of employment, performance management and other related issues;
- Support the People & Development team with workers compensation, injury management and end to end recruitment;
- Assist with P&D Business Partners with the preparation of monthly P&D Reports.
