Joining one of Australia's top Law firms, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced People & Development (Human Resources) Manager to join this fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative P&D team, located in Sydney on a permanent basis.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager - P&D Generalists, the P&D Manager is responsible for driving the delivery of effective people strategy, initiatives and operations across the partner and employee life cycle within the Sydney office and across national practice groups.
Key to this, is providing strategic business partnering to relevant stakeholders, including the Sydney Partner in Charge, on all people matters to support the achievement of the strategic goals and objectives of the Firm.
Working closely with other P&D Managers and the broader P&D team, the Sydney P&D Manager plays a critical contributing role in leading the P&D team to deliver high performance.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 2 - 4 years' experience in a human resources manager-level role, with fine-tuned business and financial acumen and the ability to influence and negotiate.
- Ability to lead, manage and drive high employee performance, as well as coach and mentor team members.
- Experience in advising on and managing employment relation matters with a strong degree of autonomy.
- Experience in legal industry is highly desirable (or alternatively professional services).
