As the businesses that makeup Guild Group evolve, so do our shared services that support them. This, alongside the rest of our tech stack, will enable us to automate people processes and reporting where it makes sense to do so, freeing up valuable space for innovation, strategic business partnering, making data-driven decisions and the freedom to deliver excellence throughout the full employee lifecycle including talent acquisition, employer branding, learning and talent management via our vendor partners.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer this role will suit an ambitious People & Performance Lead to drive delivery of all People & Culture (P&C) products, policies, and processes throughout the employee lifecycle, from strategic planning and advice to senior leaders to core HR advisory and execution of HR administration offshore. You'll lead a diverse team of HR professionals, including one onshore HR Business Partner and three offshore HR team members.
The following is a summary of the core accountabilities of the role:
- People leadership: coach, develop, mentor and guide a small team of HR professionals.
- Executive Leader Team Advisory: be a strategic advisor to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Chief People Officer (CPO), aligning, implementing and ongoing management of HR initiatives with the organisation's strategic goals at the Group and Business Unit levels.
- Leading HR operational excellence: you'll manage offshore HR operations, ensuring efficient delivery of HR services and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Generalist HR: Manage policy inquiries and breach escalation, serve as a primary point of contact for policy guidance and ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations.
- Coach and enable leaders to manage people matters and adopt new HRIS and ways of working.
- Own cyclical HR processes: Plan and execute key HR cyclical processes, leveraging data analytics to optimise performance and enhance employee experience.
- Talent & Capability: Champion talent and capability development, identifying opportunities for organisational growth and implementing strategies to future-proof the workforce.
- This role suits a seasoned HR generalist lead with a strong focus on organisational effectiveness, preferably in the financial or professional services sectors. Experience in the insurance industry is an advantage.
- You get a kick out of People leadership and your experience in making others thrive whilst you do is critical.
- You are a trusted advisor on all things HR, you're a true business partner and your passion for the craft is evident in your work
- You have some experience developing HR services and successfully executing these via external vendors.
- You can demonstrate your ability to support senior stakeholders in an HR business partner role, especially in high-change environments.
- Solid knowledge of industrial and employee relations.
- Proven capabilities in project and change management, problem-solving, and effective influencing.
