We have a fantastic opportunity for a People Systems Manager to lead our high performing People Systems team.
This leadership role is central to the effective operation of our people processes. The People Systems team is responsible for delivering a People Systems platform that enables the People and Culture team, the business and all employees. The team strives to deliver a high-quality end user experience, and drive ongoing operational efficiencies.
The Opportunity - About the Role
Working in collaboration with the People Services Manager, Payroll Manager, other members of the People and Culture team and the IT team, you will be responsible for delivering the People Systems platform and related service level support for the efficient and effective delivery of People services and achievement of Service Level Commitments. Partnering with our employees, internal and external partners and the People and Culture team, you will identify ways to enhance the employee experience and efficiency of our people processes and programs through systems configuration and implementation of releases. You will also be responsible for ensuring the integrity of people data across all Stockland systems.
This is a diverse role that will see you working closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and manage a high performing People Systems team
- Ensure the People Systems platforms are stable and secure at all times
- Ensure the stability of our people platforms with regard to downstream integrations within the Stockland IT landscape
- Enable the provision of quality and effective Level 2 systems support
- Ensure timely systems configuration and support to enable the seamless execution of annual People programs
- Implement, embed, monitor and enhance master data management disciplines to maintain People data quality, integrity and compliance across People and Culture and related systems
- Ensure employee data collected is fit for purpose, secure, and disposed of appropriately, according to legislative and business requirements
- In consultation with key stakeholders, provide recommendations to inform and continue to enhance the capability of SAP SuccessFactors' future releases and identify and quantify cost savings
- Analyse, plan and manage the implementation of new releases, modules and interfaces in consultation with People and Culture and related process and system owners, including IT
- Analyse, prioritise and coordinate business and IT approval for recommended implementation schedule and approach
- In conjunction with relevant IT stakeholders, lead the systems solution design (people, process, data and technology), change management and training for future releases/modules ensuring it meets the requirements of People and Culture and the business
- Work with IT and system SMEs in defining data migration requirements, cleansing and augmentation of data and development of reconciliation procedures
- Lead testing of new releases including overseeing development of effective test scenarios and scripts to validate enhanced or new functionality and configurations
- Manage implementation risks ensuring mitigation plans in place, escalating to appropriate decisions makers where needed
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure alignment, knowledge share, and to build understanding and knowledge of existing systems and data management processes.
- In conjunction with the People Services Manager and/or other People and Culture stakeholders, identify opportunities to improve and further automate People and Culture processes, reporting, self service capability and associated training to improve the end user experience and operational efficiency
About You
We are looking for a dynamic and driven people leader who is customer focused with an ability to lead and drive continuous improvement for our People Systems. Working with a range of IT and People and Culture stakeholders you will have extensive experience in People and Culture or HR Information Systems (ideally SAP SuccessFactors and UKG Dimensions)
You will also have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Experience with systems implementation, release management and database management
- Experience developing business requirements
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence and build relationships across teams, business functions and levels to achieve business outcomes
- Experience developing instructional and procedural documentation and presentations
- Proven ability to lead, coach, develop and motivate a team for high performance
- Exceptional planning, organisational and project management skills; anticipating potential problems and proactively identifying solutions to mitigate
- Commercially aware
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Customer focused approach with strong business partnering, stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills; communicates potential benefits of new ideas to stakeholders, identifies resources and support needed, commits to an action plan to implement new ideas
- Driven and focused individual who is self-motivated; results oriented
- Strong process improvement and change leadership capability
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to deliver with accuracy and thoroughness
- Ability to lead multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered
