About the roleReporting directly to the General Manager of Bathrooms and Tiles, you will provide exceptional support to both the General Manager and the wider merchants team. Your role in facilitating seamless daily operations and enhancing team productivity will involve coordinating schedules and calendars, arranging supplier meetings, and managing confidential information with utmost discretion.
Responsibilities include;- Schedule, facilitate and coordinate assigned meetings, record meeting minutes and actions as needed.
- Confidently answering phone calls, taking messages, and liaising with clients.
- Managing the GM's schedule and ensuring the team stays on track.
- Purchasing daily supplies and items for the GM.
- Arranging meals or snacks for meetings and boardroom events.
- Providing team coffee, and attentive care to guests.
- Perform general office administration tasks, including developing presentations, screening phone calls, managing mail, setting up conference rooms and catering, running errands and more.
- Manage travel arrangements and conference planning.
- Coding and product submissions
- Reconciling & coding expenses, invoices & card statements.
- Other duties as directed from time to time within the area of expertise.
About youYou will possess comparable experience as a Personal or Team Assistant, demonstrating agility and logical thinking. You will also demonstrate exceptional organisational skills and adept time management abilities, capable of meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
You will also have:- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of confidentiality
- Effective workload management
- Ability to build strong professional relationships
- Strong initiative and a proactive mindset
