Who are we looking for:

We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team. As a PCA, you will be responsible for providing practical and emotional support to individuals within a Residential Aged Care setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Support consumers with daily living tasks such as Personal Care, grooming etc.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to consumers, ensuring their wellbeing and safety
• Promote independence and encourage consumers to achieve their goals and aspirations
• Maintain accurate records and document all activities in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with other professionals involved in the consumers care, including family members and external healthcare professionals

Requirements:

• Experience in providing care and support to consumers with a range of needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Certificate III or IV qualification in a relevant field such as Individual Support or Aged Care, or completed first year of Bachelor of Nursing
• Currently hold or willing to obtain a National Police Check
• Empathy, compassion, and a positive attitude towards supporting others
