Formed in 1917, the Queen Elizabeth Centre (QEC) is Victoria's largest provider of residential, community and home-based parenting services, for families with children aged from birth until 4 years of age. QEC’s vision is for children to get the best start in life.
QEC employs a skilled, multidisciplinary workforce who work in a child-centered, strengths-based partnership approach, by building genuine and respectful partnerships with parents/carers, in order to work towards achieving improved outcomes for children and their families.
QEC provides a range of programs, varying in duration, intensity and location (residential, home and community) Programs at QEC are research informed, evidence based and individually tailored to meet the unique needs of each family.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant (0.6 - 0.8 FTE negotiable) to provide high level administrative support to the CEO, Board and Executive Team to support excellence in leadership, management and governance across QEC.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage CEO diary
- Provide high quality administrative support
- Attend QEC management, board and committee meetings to provide administrative support
- Undertake compliance reporting activities
- Project work and event management
- Support the development of the Annual Report
To succeed in the role you will have:
- Demonstrated success in a similar executive support role
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively problem-solve
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Maintain an exceptional standard of public relations, responding to any queries within scope of the role
- Confidence in managing professional relationships
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- High level organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Solid proficiency in MS Office software applications
