We are on the lookout for a part-time Therapy Assistant (known internally as Personal Care Assistant - Wellbeing) join our team at Emerald Life Aged Care Home in West Leederville.
Reporting to the Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, you will work closely with our residents to improve their quality of life by undertaking group and individual interventions as per their individualised care plans.
You will possess highly developed communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills, a demonstrated ability to work effectively in an inter-disciplinary team and make meaningful connections with our residents and their families.
Now... before we can set you loose in the home and (more importantly) introduce you to our residents, we need to ensure you possess:
- Cert III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (or similar)
- NDIS Worker Screening
- evidence of Influenza vaccination, and
- full working rights in Australia.
