Personal Care Worker (Home Care) - Ballarat- Ballarat region

About the role:
The Direct Care Worker provides essential and practical care to help mecwacare clients to live independently in their own home. The work includes providing Personal Care, helping around the home, assisting with meal preparation and transport to appointments. The role requires travel to clients’ homes using your own car.
Essential criteria:
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care or Disability or completion of first year Bachelor of Nursing studies and First Aid Level 2.
- Current driver's license and access to a registered vehicle.
- A Smartphone.
- Ability to relate to older people and flexibility around the changing needs of clients.
Desirable but not essential:
- Current WWC Card and an interest in working with children with complex needs.
- Current Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme Check or willingness to apply for an NDIS check.
