To ensure we continue to provide a superior level of service and care to our elderly, we are seeking experienced and compassionate Personal Care Workers to join our organisation across multiple sites.
Site locations:
- Thornbury
- St Albans
- Clayton
- Templestowe
The main responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
- Providing Personal Care to our elderly
- Assisting with activities of daily living
- Mobility assistance
- Assistance with eating and drinking
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date records
- Observing the conditions of our elderly and reporting any concerns
- Encourage care recipients to make their own decisions
- Respite Care – companionship and conversation
The successful applicant/s will have the following:
- A Certificate III in Aged Care (minimum qualification) or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar field
- Previous experience in providing Personal Care services in an Aged Care Facility
- A team-oriented attitude, empathy and problem solving skills
- Commitment to deliver quality care to our elderly
- Current Police Check or willingness to obtain one
