The Role & The Firm
Our client is a long established law firm and is a bona fide leader in the insurance space. They are looking to recruit several talented and enthusiastic insurance lawyers at the 1 to 4 year post admission level.
You will have the opportunity to work on a broad mix of work of interesting and stimulating work, including
- Public Liability
- Personal Injury Matters
- General Liability Matters
- Complex Property Damage Claims
- General commercial disputes
This is a hands on role where you will have carriage of matters, attend court, brief counsel, manage client relationships, foster strong client relationships. You will also work together with senior lawyers on big ticket litigation.
The firm is supportive and collaborative and your career will benefit from strong mentoring (one on one).
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 1 year pae or pre admission experience in the area of insurance litigation or general commercial disputes or personal injury law
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Writing and litigation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and juggle competing deadlines
- Drive, enthusiasm and a "roll up your sleeves" kind of attitude
