Pay range: $50.00 - $60.00 p/h ex super
About the role:
Work as part of the Security Clearances team under the supervision of the Assistant Director to undertake security clearance processes at the level of Baseline, Negative Vetting Level 1 and Negative Vetting Level 2.
Duties:
- Process security clearances in accordance with the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and standard operating procedures
- Provide high quality sound advice regarding clearance outcomes, and be receptive to feedback
- Assess and manage complex vetting clearances, including the ability to prepare denial documentation to a high standard
- Work to tight deadlines and appropriately manage heavy workloads
Required experience/skills:
- Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting) is Mandatory
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively individually or within a team environment
- The ability to manage competing priorities
