Located in Mornington, this is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacist to kickstart your career in pharmacy management. As a Pharmacist Manager, you'll lead and coordinate clinical and operational activities to ensure safe, high-quality care delivery. Your role includes managing pharmacy operations, fostering a collaborative team environment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will play an active role in strategic planning, supervise day-to-day operations, and advocate for medication safety principles.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate clinical and operational pharmacy activities to meet service level and financial targets.
- Ensure optimal patient care and customer service by motivating and supporting the pharmacy team.
- Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations, including budget management and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to support effective medicines management and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Safeguard privacy and confidentiality while maintaining safe and efficient pharmacy operations.
- Promote the quality use of medicines and pharmaceutical care for patients.
- Manage the clinical trial service, including liaison with associated bodies and overseeing business aspects.
About you:
- Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist with Australian pharmacy experience.
- Strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to learning and development.
- Previous experience in hospital or community pharmacy (leadership experience desirable).
- Commitment to improving patient outcomes and delivering high-quality pharmacy services.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or relevant tertiary qualification, with professional indemnity insurance.

Remuneration:
- $55 per hour + super, approximately upwards of $108,680 per year
- Permanent full-time
- 9am - 5:30pm, 38 - 40 hours per week
