The role
Our facility the Metropolitan Remand Centre (MRC) is looking for Permanent Part-Time Pharmacy Technicians to join the primary care team. You would be required to work on a 7-day rotating roster to cover shifts 8am - 6pm. Working with this patient group is rewarding as the healthcare you provide can have a positive impact for a lifetime.
This role doesn’t include dispensing. Current FT/PT hourly rate is $24.60/hour + superannuation and casual rate is $30.75 per hour + super (i.e. $24.60 plus 25% casual loading).
Essential Requirements:
- Certificate III in Community Pharmacy
- A minimum of one-year full time experience as a pharmacy technician
- Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Intermediate to advanced PC skills
- Demonstrated high level of accuracy and attention to detail in the workplace
- Demonstrated reliability, honesty, trustworthiness and responsibility
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment amongst a passionate team
