Our Physiotherapists provides quality, needs and evidence based, MS specific neurological physiotherapy advice and services to clients and other organisations in Queensland according to the MS Queensland Physiotherapy Model of Service. In this variety filled community-based role in Regional Cairns predominantly with home visits in addition to telehealth work. Our new part time Physiotherapist will also ensure that people living with the effects of MS achieve the best out of life by reaching optimal functional capacity and effectively minimising the impact of their symptoms on day-to-day life.
The role is permanent, part time, 2 days a week (Tuesday & Thursday).Graduates are welcome to apply and will be supported and mentored directly by the Physiotherapy Clinical Leader and Senior Physiotherapy team in a wonderful team, with opportunities for development! A supported induction program awaits you with regular weekly supervision tailored to you! We have a professional development plan in clinical knowledge and skills in all areas of neurological physiotherapy and admin support for all booking with allocated time for all work admin tasks! To top it off, a flexible work location including work from home to complete telehealth calls, customer reports and admin!

About you:- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA Registration
- Eligibility for APA (Australian Physiotherapy Association) membership and insurance (or current)
- Clinical experience working with people living with a progressive neurological condition would be advantageous
- A developmental, interactive approach to the practice of the MS Queensland’s physiotherapy services
- Knowledge of, or ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, MS and its effects
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills with strong teamwork value orientation
A NDWS clearance and completion of NDIS Online Worker Training Module will be required for this role (prior to commencement).
