Job Summary: One Stop Physio is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physiotherapist to join our team. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive physiotherapy services to patients of all ages with musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and other conditions. Responsibilities:
- Formulate clinical diagnoses based on assessment findings, medical history, and patient goals.
- Develop individualised treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, goals, and specific condition.
- Design and supervise exercise programs to improve strength, endurance, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
- Utilise hands-on techniques such as joint mobilisation, soft tissue massage, stretching, and manipulation to alleviate pain and improve joint mobility.
- Educate patients about their condition, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
- Assist patients in regaining functional independence in daily activities and specific to their goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and achieve holistic treatment goals.
- Maintain detailed records of patient assessments, treatment plans, interventions, SOAP notes, and outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest research, evidence-based practices, and advancements in the field of physiotherapy.
- Participate in continuing education, training workshops, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Required documentation:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy.
- Professional indemnity insurance.
- AHPRA registration.
- Drivers licence.
- WCCC.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of sport & exercise science.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience.
- Dry needling accreditation.
Work Environment: This position will primarily be based in a clinical setting, with occasional opportunities for community outreach or home visits. The physiotherapist will collaborate closely with doctors, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients.
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / Contractor - flexible working arrangements. Weekend's optional.
