Are you a compassionate and skilled Physiotherapist looking to move to Darwin and make a meaningful impact in the lives of elderly individuals? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our team in Darwin, providing specialized care in the field of aged care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents to identify physical limitations and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall functional capacity.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and promote residents' well-being.
- Provide education to residents and their families on rehabilitation exercises and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with professional standards.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Bachelor or higher degree in Physiotherapy.
- Full registration with AHPRA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- NDIS screening check
- 2024 flu (when accessible) and
- COVID-19 vaccinations (minimum three doses)
- Valid driver's licence
- Minimum of one year of experience, preferably in an aged care setting.
This role is based in Tiwi, Darwin and offers the successful candidate the perfect work-life balance. This role can be Full-Time or Part-Time (3 days per week, 8 hours per day).
The role has an ASAP start, with relocation support on offer for the successful candidate should relocation to Darwin be required.
