Physiomax is a well-established physiotherapy clinic with a passionate team who are dedicated to delivering a quality service, aiming for the best possible outcomes for the client and their family/care givers. We have a large client base of private, Medicare referred, DVA, Workcover, NDIS, Insurance, and corporate clients such as Gold Coast City Council, Woolworths, Startrack and Bunnings. We also offer a pre-employment screening service and have a fully equipped Pilates studio for clients to use with a specifically designed program to meet their needs.
Job description
- Part-time, approximately 15-20 hours per week initially, hours negotiable, with potential to increase to full-time.
- Based at our Arundel premises.
- Autonomous and independent role with support from Senior Physiotherapists
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct musculoskeletal assessments to determine client needs and provide treatment appropriately.
- Ensure that appropriate notes are recorded in our Cliniko system for each client as soon as possible after treatment, preferably within a 24-hour period.
- Develop strong, compassionate, and friendly working relationships with the clients, colleagues, and support staff at Physiomax.
- Perform administration duties as required including letters to referrers, provider management plans, follow-up reports and booking appointments.
- If required, be available for additional hours of work, outside of ones that have been designated when suitable to you.
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Registered with the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Current first aid/CPR qualification
- Appropriate public liability and professional indemnity insurance to the minimum value of $10M
- Ability to work in Australia as a physiotherapist.
- Minimum 2 years experience
