About You:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the physical well-being and

functional abilities of individuals with disabilities. We are looking for someone who is client-centred, understands the importance of family goals, and has a strong commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities to live their best lives. Our clinicians are our clients’ biggest advocates - championing clients through to their success. If you have a commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities, we would love to hear from you. The successful applicant will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for making a positive impact. This role will be rewarding to those with a strong desire for enabling people with disabilities to live their best lives.

Requirements:

  • Possession of relevant tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy.
  • Experience in the field is desirable (2 years minimum), but new graduates are also welcome to apply.
  • Knowledge of the disability sector, including experience working within the National

Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), assessment services, and/or private practice.

  • Demonstrated experience and interest in supporting individuals with disabilities.
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
  • Ability to obtain necessary checks and clearances, including NDIS Worker Screening Check,

Working with Children's Check (WWC), National Police Clearance (NPC), and a valid First Aid Certificate.

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Familiarity with completing Assistive Technology (AT) applications on behalf of NDIS participants is desirable, although not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct musculoskeletal assessments to diagnose injuries, conditions, or movement dysfunctions.
  2. Develop and implement individualised treatment plans incorporating therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques (such as massage, joint mobilisations, and soft tissue release), electrotherapy modalities (such as ultrasound, TENS, and electrical muscle stimulation), and hydrotherapy etc.
  3. Provide patient education on proper posture, body mechanics, and ergonomic principles to prevent injuries and promote optimal movement patterns.
  4. Perform gait analysis and prescribe appropriate assistive devices or orthotics to enhance mobility and stability.
  5. Administer pain management interventions, including heat and cold therapy applications, to reduce pain and inflammation.
  6. Develop and implement rehabilitation programmes for patients recovering from orthopaedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, or chronic pain syndromes.
  7. Conduct functional capacity evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities and determine their readiness to return to work or sport.
  8. Document client assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately and comprehensively in electronic medical records.
