SalaryAn exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Senior Physiotherapist (Acute) to join the Physiotherapy Team at the Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:
- To deliver high level critical care and acute physiotherapy clinical services and act as a resource in their area of expertise within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service (WBHHS) Fraser Coast.
- To deliver professional leadership in critical care and acute physiotherapy including clinical practice supervision of less experienced physiotherapists and clinical support staff at Hervey Bay & Maryborough Hospitals.
- Manage day to day operational aspects and planning of physiotherapy staff in ICU & Acute wards ensuring quality outcomes in collaboration with the Director of Physiotherapy.
- To provide leadership and contribute to service development, education and research in the department.
Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases ( https://tinyurl.com/yc6pgyt2 )(VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).
From 9th December 2019 all new employees will be required to be assessed for their risk of Tuberculosis (TB). Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $152,775 p.a., comprising salary between $124,435 - $133,901 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
