MGS physiotherapy is actively seeking an experienced receptionist who will perform both reception duties and basic administration tasks as part of our expanding reception career pathway. Prior experience working in an allied health clinic or similar.

This role is based based at Mona Vale for 20-22 hours per week. We are looking for someone who is flexible and would be available to cover holidays, sick leave at our other sites when required.
Reception Duties & responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors and greeting functions.
- Answer & direct phone calls.
- Managing bookings & appointment scheduling.
- Processing payments.
- General administrative support for the allied health staff.
- Liaising with our referral base
- Daily reconciliation & balancing
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical, dental or allied health facility
- Sound computer literacy skills in Microsoft Excel (and Microsoft Word or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and phone manner.
- Ability to work confidently as an individual and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to provide cover at times of need.
- Empathetic disposition in assisting customers with their healthcare management and payment needs.
The Role:
This is a permanent part-time position offering 20 - 22 hours per week (negotiable and possibilities for this to increase).
Applicants could expect to start work at 7:30am for some shifts, and finish at 6:30pm for others.
