Pizza Chef - Above 8 Rooftop Bar And Lounge

We have an opportunity for a Full-Time Pizza Chef to join our Above8 team!Who are we?Above 8 is a contemporary Rooftop Bar and Lounge, situated on level 9 of the brand-new Travelodge hotel in Hurstville.As Pizza Chef, along with the Head Chef, your role is to ensure exceptional food quality and consistency, in particular with Pizza products. The role demands the skills necessary to deliver a consistent, high quality pizza product, from dough to cooking. Training other team members in the pizza making skills will be one of your key responsibility.Scope of the role:

• Perfect & document the creation of pizza dough recipes including in house Gluten free dough
• Effective and efficient running of the Pizza kitchen inline with company standards
• Develop and implement together with the head chef interesting and popular Pizza menu
• Train kitchen staff in the Pizza making skill
• Manage food wastage according kitchen policies
• Assist with conducting monthly food stocktakes accurately

Hours:Permanent Full-Time 38 hour week across Monday-Sunday working a rotating roster.Benefits:
