AddressMaybe Group, an award winning Sydney restaurant group seeks an experienced and professional Pizza Chef for Maybe Frank (Randwick) Pty Ltd to fill out their staffing complement due to venue expansion.
Our brand marries a dining experience of classic Italian dishes with luxe twists, award winning cocktails from an internationally
acclaimed front of house team, and a relaxed casual chic vibe worthy of Frank, Dean and Sammy in their heyday.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES for the positions will include the following:
Menu design, Food costing, Ordering and Checking of Stock
Prep, and making of the pizzas in high volume capacity
· Managing all food order slips and cooking as per instructions.
· Preparing raw ingredients, as well as preparing dough.
Ensuring HAACP & OH&S Guidelines are observed by all kitchen staff
Mentoring and training staff
OUR EXPECTATIONS
The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience as a pizza chef, pizza maker.
The production as well as the ability to work with hand-tossed dough
Wood fired oven experience
Evaluating food requirements and maintaining standard quantities
Lead by example though hands on approach
Have a creative mind to introduce Chef specials in pizzas to run weekly
Leadership and communication skills
The ability to consistently deliver under pressure.
Experience in training and mentoringstaff.
Flexibility to rotate between our various kitchens.
Works closely with other employees in a supportive and flexible manner.
Keeps calm in high volume, high pressure environment.
