Are you a talented and experienced Pizza Chef seeking an exciting opportunity in a busy CBD venue? Look no further! We are a thriving restaurant located right in the heart of Martin Place! We are well respected and known for our epicurean delights and vibrant atmosphere. We are currently searching for a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef to join our team and handle the demands of our fast-paced service.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality pizzas using traditional techniques and recipes.
• Ensure the consistency and presentation of each pizza, maintaining our standards of taste and quality.
• Manage the pizza station efficiently during busy service hours, working collaboratively with the kitchen team.
• Coordinate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring all ingredients are properly stocked.
• Contribute to menu development and innovation, suggesting new ideas and flavours.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Pizza Chef in a fast-paced and high-volume restaurant.
• Extensive knowledge of pizza dough preparation, shaping, and baking techniques.
• Proficient in working with a variety of pizza toppings and ingredients.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices and kitchen sanitation.
• Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Creativity and passion for delivering exceptional pizza experiences.

This is a full time permanent role with salary between $65,000 - $85,000 per annum pending experience.
