About the Position
As a Placement Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring student placements for the Faculty of Health are coordinated successfully and in a timely manner. You will supervise placement officers, collaborate with various stakeholders and will undertake a broad range of operational activities in support of student placements. You’ll ensure effective processes are maintained in line with university and professional accrediting bodies in relation to work integrated learning and ensure operational support for students prior to and during and upon completion of their professional placements.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
- A degree with subsequent relevant experience in student placements in a higher education environment or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
- Demonstrate initiative to improve quality and consumer service by striving to exceed consumer expectations.
- Demonstrated experience in collecting and compiling data, interpreting information and providing strategic advice and detailed reports and recommendations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and an understanding of the principles of customer service to prove a professional approach to meeting the case management needs of students.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing the performance and development of a small administratively focused team.
- Sound understanding of and experience with education, including student placements.
- Qualifications and/ or understanding of health services and health education.
- Experience with legal contracts and/or finance processes.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 6. The base salary will be in the range of $90,518 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $99,369 - $105,906 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
