NSW Planning is seeking diverse and talented Planning Officers to help with stakeholder engagement, development assessments, and delivery across a series of new, ambitious projects.
- Are you an effective communicator, who has experience in development assessment and working with a range of stakeholders?
- Are you a creative and collaborative problem-solver?
- Are you customer-service focused?
- Are you a critical thinker, with experience in making research-backed recommendations and supporting decision making?
- Are you experienced in project delivery, progress reviews and proactive in adjusting plans when needed?
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant planning and environmental legislation and processes.
- While a tertiary degree in environmental science, environmental management, or planning is preferred, we welcome applicants with qualifications from planning aligned industries such as engineering, architecture, urban design or other equivalent qualifications.
