About the Role
The ABC Capital City Radio Content Support team are seeking an energetic Planning Coordinator to provide high level planning, strategic and administrative support to Content in the achievement of its objectives, with a focus on the ABC Radio Sydney team.
In this key role you will be responsible for the daily support of a dynamic on-air team with tasks including but not limited to: creating and coordinating employee schedules and rosters, external contributor agreements and staff engagements, assisting in the preparation of reports, briefings and internal staff communications, providing adhoc training to colleagues and assisting with bookings and costings for content initiatives, live events and outside broadcasts, as required.
You will also be required to undertake a range of finance administration activities including monitoring budget performance and variances, completing forecasting and preparing monthly journals and accruals.
About You
As a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and with the ability to foster proactive working relationships, you will be someone who works effectively as part of a team, has strong organisational and time management skills and able to meet deadlines. You will have accomplished experience in the provision of administrative and finance support in a large and complex organisation, including advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP HR and SAP Finance.
