We are an Australian owned company that supply clothing to all the major retailers in Australia and some overseas retailers.
We are looking for an experienced manager to look after our Supply Chain including planning, inventory management and logistics.
We have been in the Australian market place for a long time and have well established Supply Chain partners, solid processes and controls and a history of excellent DIFOT achievements.
We are about to turn on a newly designed ERP system which will further enhance our controls and processes across the business so that will also help this position in terms of data and analysis.
You will work with various managers and third party suppliers across all Supply Chain areas on the following actions:
- Inventory levels
- Demand planning forecasts and modelling
- DIFOT targets
- Warehousing capacity and labour utilisation
- Shipping and freight
- Productions alignment with Supply Chain.
Essentially we are looking for the following qualities and skills:
- Forecast/demand planning experience using historical sales data and seasonal trends.
- Data analysis using Advanced Microsoft excel and if possible Power BI.
- Stock Management/Purchasing using forward forecast, agreed safety stock and order cycle timeline.
- Good communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced Supply Chain, preferably in a FMCG.
- Ability to analyse large data base to pull out information for effective decision making.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines - being both reactive and proactive.
- Experience in managing subordinates working both on site and remotely.
