As we continue to grow, we're looking for a hands-on Supply Chain Manager who can help streamline our operations and ensure the timely and efficient delivery of our products to customers.
Reporting directly to the Country Manager, this role is pivotal for managing our Supply Chain activities. GODIVA has a global presence and operates in over 180 countries, which requires intricate Supply Chain coordination to ensure timely delivery of products to and from various locations.
This is a full-time position based in Melbourne. The team enjoys a hybrid working style, working both in-office (Melbourne CBD) and from home, with current office days on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the Supply Chain process, from procurement through to delivery, ensuring all elements are efficient and cohesive.
- Direct and mentor the Supply Chain Coordinator to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, including forecasting and various Supply Chain activities.
- Manage all aspects of logistics, including inventory control, transportation, and distribution strategies for retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels.
- Be hands-on and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations across the company.
- Drive continuous improvements, optimise Supply Chain practices, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
- Uphold stringent compliance with all relevant import/export regulations and maintain meticulous records and documentation.
What You Will Bring
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar Supply Chain role, preferably within the perishable goods sector or food industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of both international and domestic Supply Chain operations, including experience with freight forwarding and customs regulations.
- Familiarity with Cin7 is highly desired.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced skill in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
