12 month Planning Officer position, facilitating NDIS funding plan reviews

We have an exciting and rare opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Planning Officer (12 month maternity leave cover) to join our team in assisting people with disabilities to live their best life. You will be instrumental in the facilitation of NDIS funding plan reviews, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring that funding plans are well-managed.
You will join a local team working under the guidance of a Service Support Manager, to explore, create and facilitate quality funding plans for people with disabilities and their and families.

What you will bring to the team:
• Knowledge of community development and funding opportunities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Qualification in social science, human services or equivalent
• Experience in supporting families of people with disabilities
• Experience in planning and assessments with the NDIS
• A clear commitment to the core values of our organisation
• Knowledge of the NDIS and Present a Certificate of NDIS ‘Quality, Safety & You’ available here
