Job description

An exciting opportunity exists at Shellharbour Council for an emerging town planner to join our Planning and Urban Release Team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and determining routine Development Applications (DA), ensuring compliance with building codes, Council regulations/codes, town planning requirements, and environmental planning legislation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the efficient functioning of our organisation and make a positive impact on the community whilst continuing studies towards a degree in Urban and Regional Planning or equivalent.

  • Permanent full time, 35 hours per week with access to flexi-time
  • Salary range from $70,686.72 - $78,044.20 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
  • 11% superannuation
