Planning Group is moving to the Department of Housing, Local Government, Planning and Public Works in Feb 2024. We are looking for Planning Support Officers in multiple locations.
The roles are temporary government positions, providing administrative support to the local Planning and Development Services teams.
The successful candidate will also provide first-point-of-contact for clients and stakeholders as a part of the operations of the State Assessment and Referral Agency (SARA).

This role is a part of the Planning and Development Service team, which is responsible for delivering outstanding planning outcomes for Queensland communities. The branch focuses on assisting Local Governments in implementing the State's planning agenda through local planning instruments and implementing regional plans. As the State Assessment Referral Agency (SARA), the team plays a critical role in assessing development applications on behalf of the State.
