Wagga Wagga City Council is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to lead the delivery of Council's Plans of Management for Council-managed Crown Land and community classified land.
This position will have a particular focus on compliance with Council's statutory obligations pursuant to the Local Government Act 1993 and Crown Land Management Act 2016.

- Commencing salary at $3,039.20 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $3,647.04 gross per fortnight + superannuation.
- Two (2) year term contract.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Lead the preparation of Plans of Management for Council owned community land and crown land of which Council is the appointed Crown Land Manager.
- Prepare and maintain a register of Council's Plans of Management including development of a review framework.
- Engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including conducting stakeholder workshops to obtain input and feedback in relation to draft documents in accordance with legislative requirements, including outside ordinary business hours, as required.
- Prepare correspondence, presentations, reports, and briefing papers in relation to Plans of Management.
- Assist in managing Council's legislative obligations to ensure compliance and take steps to manage Council's reputational risks.
What you will need to succeed:
We are looking for someone with:
- Qualifications relevant to the role e.g., law, land economy, valuation and/or planning;
- Class C Driver's Licence; and
- Strong attention to detail, time management and administrative skills, enjoyment of multi-tasking and applying a problem-solving approach to your work.
