We are currently looking for an experienced Hire coordinator to join our team. We currently have a fleet of 98 machines and 25 operators working civil, crushing, demolition and mining projects across the state.
The Hire Coordinator Role
- Coordinate day to day activities of employees and plant.
- Allocation and tracking of plant and employees.
- Keeping a high standard of health and safety by working within our intergraded management systems and associated legislation.
- Administrative duties with high attention to detail.
- Yard organisation and presentation.
- Liase and communicate with clients and other departments
- Vehicle monitoring and inspections
- Work hours are 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Skills and Experience
- Be local to Townsville or willing to move at own cost.
- Have Previous Coordination/ logistics experience
- Have good people and customer focus skills
- Able to work under pressure and in fast paced environments and think on your feet
- Intermediate computer skills using different programs such as tracking/ gps programs along with scheduling platforms.
- Be able to multi task
- Be able to work independently and as a part of a team
- An energetic and proactive personality
- Accurate administration skills
- Ability to plan and meet deadlines
Preferred but not necessary
- Machine operating experience
- Supervisory experience
- Forklift license
