Role Overview:
As our Hire Operations Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, supporting our Hire Client Relations Manager in all operational aspects of the hire process. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient operational function of our furniture hire service, from enquiry to delivery and setup. Collaborating closely with our Hire Client Relations Manager and internal team, you will strive to exceed client expectations and uphold our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ongoing assessment and improvement of processes, hire platform software and departmental requirements.
- Coordinate the rental process from inquiry to delivery, providing clients with a seamless and professional experience.
- Maintain accurate inventory records to ensure optimal stock levels and availability.
- Guiding logistics activities in collaboration with our logistics team, specifically the installation process and coordinating returns/collections.
- Cultivate strong client relationships, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to continually enhance our furniture hire service.
Deliver exceptional customer service, promptly addressing any issues or concerns.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in hire coordination, preferably in furniture hire.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hire platforms with a keen interest in enhancing platforms for optimal efficiency and user-friendliness
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of the interior design industry and trends is advantageous.

Work Hours:
This is a full-time office-based role, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, located at our head office in Ashmore, Gold Coast, Queensland.
