Hy-Tec Concrete currently has an opportunity for a Concrete Plant Manager to join our team looking after our Burleigh and Yatala sites. Reporting to the Production Manager, this is your opportunity to become an integral team member at one of Australia’s leading construction materials producers.
With a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement, you will lead by example and foster an organisational culture of integrity and pride in strong customer service in your small, close-knit team. This role will provide you with the scope to deliver important short and long-term improvements, which are critical for our ongoing growth and profitability.

Responsibilities
Provide supervision to Concrete Agitator Drivers (company & Lorry Owner Drivers)
Coordinate plant maintenance & perform basic maintenance
Supervision of batch staff
Control staff working hours
Manage stocks of raw materials
Ensure safety, health, environmental and Chain of Responsibility requirements are met
Ensure a high level of customer service
What you will need to succeed
Experience in a supervisor position in the construction materials industry
Forklift and Front-End Loader licenses
Be able to identify opportunities for improved operational efficiencies
A strong customer service focus
Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
