The role:
As our new Plant Mechanic, your day to day will vary but you will have an all-encompassing responsibility for the on-going maintenance and troubleshooting of our large fleet of light & heavy plant and machinery.
This role is based in our new yard in Tomago, NSW.
Your every day:
• Assisting in day to day operations of our new yard and wider workshop
• Minor & major mechanical repairs when needed
• Routine run-ups of earthmoving machinery
• Assessing equipment for potential damage and general cleaning of machines
• Coordination / procurement of parts and consumables for the workshop
Who are you?
• Qualification in heavy diesel fitting / mechanical fitting
• Mechanical aptitude is essential
• Previous experience working around earthmoving machinery
• Forklift license is essential and a HR license is preferred
• Basic level of IT competency
