Dwyer Harris is seeking a recent law graduate with an interest in financial services and commercial law to undertake their practical legal training (PLT) placement. The work may involve a range of business law matters such as:
- Corporate/commercial advice and transactions.
- Regulatory advice, particularly in relation to credit and financial services and competition and consumer law.
- Regulatory investigations and dispute resolution.
The role would also involve assistance with research, matter management, writing articles and preparing presentations, and some related administration work.
The successful candidate will have:
- A good academic record.
- An interest in practising in financial services and commercial law.
- Drafting accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral English.
- A willingness to learn and ability to work in a team environment.
Please note that this is a volunteer, unpaid position. However a daily allowance will be paid for travel and meals.
